Abstract

Neuroendocrine tumors are relatively rare neoplasias with a large clinical presentations and outcomes.
In the metastatic disease multiple therapeutic approaches are possible in order to improve quality of life and extend survival.
In this review we will provide an update of treatment options routinely used in the management of advanced gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP NETS) such as medical and surgical treatment, radiologic interventions and palliative or target radiotherapy.
