Mesenteric lymphatic malformations are rare and benign entities more frequent in children. Unlike adults, children can present more frequently with symptoms of acute abdomen. A 14-year-old-child with pica eating disorder presents to the ER with acute abdomen. It was discovered a huge intra-abdominal mass and performed a resection with segmental enterectomy and anastomosis. The pathology revealed a mesenteric lymphatic malformation. The exact etiology is unknown. The intra-abdominal appearance is uncommon. Symptoms are diverse and preoperative diagnosis is a challenge, which was why we considered interesting to publish. The treatment was in line with the latest published articles.
