Abstract

The practice of Informed Consent is quite recent and even new if the long history of medicine is considered. Although the concept has been generalized after the birth of bioethics it’s roots come at least from the end of the xviii th century in England and emply strong modifications on doctor-patient relatioships paterns. The fact that every day medical practice is no short of informed consent doubts and problems justifies the present notes on that topic.
