Abstract

The new “WHO classification of tumours of the digestive system” 2010 book is a major reference to be used by multidisciplinary groups (e.g., gastroenterology, surgery, endocrinology, image, anatomic-pathology, nuclear medicine, oncology and genetics) in the nomenclature, classification, ICD-O classification, diagnosis, grade and TNM stage, and reporting of neuroendocrine neoplasm, following international guidelines (e.g., ENETS, NCCN) in the management of patients with neuroendocrine tumours of the digestive system.
